So...good news and baddish news.

Good news!

My dad, as some of you may know, is in the army, working at the Pentagon. He's Lieutenant Colonel as of right now, and he's going to be in forced retirement next year.

That is, unless he makes colonel. Then he'll get a permanent assignment for a few more years somewhere.

Well, the promotion board is in the process of meeting and discussing the next round of promotions. And his CO hasstated that, if he makes colonel, he'll have his assignment stationed once again at the Pentagon.

We'll hear back in about a week. This is really frackin' awesome. I don't think I can describe everything cause a) probably classified, b) don't remember it all. I'll let y'all know what comes up.

Oh, also? Ski equipment is HOLY FUCK expensive. I only have enough money to buy a cheap substitute for ski pants (no goggles, boots, or pads, have the jacket), and even then it set me back a shitload.
